UGA Football: UGA Dedicates Sanford Stadium Renovations
ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia held a dedication ceremony on Sept. 6 to celebrate the completion of the second phase of an extensive construction project on Sanford Stadium’s south side.
The ceremony took place in the stadium’s west end zone lounge and featured remarks from UGA President Jere W. Morehead, J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Josh Brooks, Head Football Coach Kirby Smart and junior linebacker Jalon Walker. Among those in attendance were members of the Board of Regents Cade Joiner and Patrick Jones, State Senator Frank Ginn and State Representatives Houston Gaines and Marcus Wiedower.
