He told Dawgs247 – “It’s a big thing being under [defensive coordinator Glenn] Schumann. When I went there, I spent a lot of time with Justin [Williams], Chris [Cole], Troy Bowles, all the guys, talking to them saying, when you come here and you play against other teams, it’s like a practice because you’re playing the best-of-the-best and iron sharpens iron. Why wouldn’t you want to be somewhere like that? Just knowing that if I do go there and having guys ahead of me like that, it’s not about play time. It’s about learning from guys like that for when it’s my time to play, I’ll be at the best of my ability.”
