“I’m going to be joining a program where I’ll be playing against future NFL players,” Uzochukwu said to On3 regarding his commitment. “UGA has three projected first round draft picks right now, so I’m going to be playing against future first round picks every single day in practice. I’m going to be getting better every single day.”

“I got to be there and talk to the coaches,” Uzochukwu said. “Somebody asked me what the most defining factor of the visit was. I said it was after the game against UMass. I was in the locker room where I got to see coach Smart talk and hear the intensity that he was speaking with. He was very intense. If you beat a team by 38 points, the locker room is usually hyped, chill and loud. But he came in and it was straight to business. He was serious.”
