“Everything is really recent. When Coach [Josh] Crawford was at Georgia Tech, he was recruiting me, but he just got the running backs job at Georgia. After that was when I really got in touch with Georgia. After that, Coach CJ (Germany), the assistant receivers coach, texted with me for a couple of days,” Dodson told DawgsHQ. “He hit me on Friday night to make first contact, and we talked again on Saturday. They called me on Sunday, and that’s when I talked to Coach CJ, Coach Crawford, and Coach [James] Coley. Everything happened kind of fast for me. Some schools you may know a coach for a couple months to build that relationship, but this one happened fast with the offer.”
