UGA Recruiting: The Kirby Copter Would Play a Part if the Dawgs End Up With This Five Star

“It was very special,” Petty said. “Coach Kirby flew the helicopter down on the back turf. It was really awesome to see him come and show support like that. Coach Searels was also coming by multiple times… He seemed to be in great spirits,” Petty added of Searels. “He lifted a lot of people up. A lot of people had good things to say about him.”

“Georgia is a big school for me, they’re the in-state school,” Petty said to DawgsHQ. “They’re the in-state school. They were back-to-back national champions previously. Georgia develops offensive linemen over there. They build great guys and it’s special for them to have offered me at such an early time and keep recruiting me as hard as they have.”
