“Really talking to Coach Smart and getting to meet with Coach Donte. Really the talk we had. We talked about all the reasons they want me, some of the things I can work on. It was just a really good talk with them,” Gilbert told Dawgs247. “You know, it’s good. We’re close. We built relationships while he was at USC, and that’s carried onto Georgia now. It’s a great relationship with him. He’s just a great coach. He’s a smart coach. He knows how to develop guys. He does all that very well. That’s what I’m looking for in a coach.”
