“Honestly, the locker room, it felt like there were a million recruits in there,” Walker told Dawgs247. “I felt like I was the first one to dap up Kirby Smart. That was definitely a good feeling, a big factor. Not trying to be conceited, you know, but yeah, I definitely felt like that was a big factor.”
“Really I tell everybody my criteria is everything. If it’s not everything, you shouldn’t be committing there. It’s really gotta be everything — family feel, program, coaches, students, staff, everything,” Walker said. “Honestly just the feel of Athens. It’s the place. I feel really comfortable with the staff. After the football game, like I said, I went to the locker room with Coach Kirby. I talked with some of the players. It’s a lot of small things they do well.”
