“It was surreal when he got the offer from Georgia because I was there at the camp with him,” his father Travis Smith Sr. said to DawgNation. “When they made the call for him to come, I said ‘Trav I think it is time’ because they have always been kind of eyeing him. But when he got in the camp, he just showed up and showed up.”
