“It was cool for that being my first time at UGA for a game,” Smith told DawgsHQ. “It was amazing. The fans were crazy. They were friendly to UGA, but when those opponents arrived, they weren’t too nice. They were all love from them.”
“That was big,” Smith said. “Them being in so early, being national champions and being on me even though that first year at Westlake was a little trippy. Them believing in me is a win-win. They’re definitely on the top of my list just for that. They believed in me even though they couldn’t see everything that I could do.”
