“Erik Pastrana and I have Zoom calls all the time,” Newell said to 247sports on Georgia. “I am from Athens and my brother is going to be a sophomore there. They also have a great development program and I feel I have a good connection with Mike White.”
“I want to go where I am needed and wanted,” Newell said. “I want to build my own legacy and pick a school where the fit is right. It is going to be a really hard decision but I will pray everyday, listen to my mentors, and go from there.”
