UGA Recruiting: Relationship with the Georgia Staff is Big Time Important for the #1 Player in the Nation

“I really like coach Schumann. Honestly, he’s a down-to-earth guy. Every time I go up there, we have a great time. He’s got a great relationship with my mother, my little sister. Those are the two people that come up with me,” Griffin told Dawgs247. “Coach Scott treats me very well. He respects me as a player, but not only as a player. He cares as a human being. But he’s got a mindset that he always wants to win, and he only wants the best players. He’s sent however many DL to the first round. So looking at a guy who coaches my position and gets guys to the league, which is ultimately my goal, that plays a huge part, as well.”
