UGA Recruiting: Georgia Made a Big Move for the #2 Player in the Nation This Past Weekend
Sanders told DawgNation – “For coach Smart, he was so busy at practice but he said something to me at the end of practice when he was talking to me and my parents. He was thanking me for not being on my phone during practice. I was right there up and close. He was like ‘A lot of kids come up to campus and they are on their phone and not paying a lot of attention to practice’ but he commended me on how well of a student-athlete I was. Even though I wasn’t practicing, I was still able to pay attention and at least try to learn something.”
“The fact he was paying attention to me when I didn’t even think he was even paying attention to me was something that was pretty cool. To know that he was taking notes for himself about stuff he liked and didn’t like with everything going on at the whole practice and maybe noticed that about me. So that was pretty cool.”
