UGA Recruiting: 2023 Class Superlatives – Biggest Battle
I’m not sure I can pick between Daniel Harris and Damon Wilson. Of course the 5* is going to be the highest profile battle, but Harris was a fight. The 4* DB committed to UGA over Penn State on July 1st and stayed that way until about a month before the early signing period. For that month, and especially the last week and a half before signing day, it was a back and forth battle that sometimes changed daily. In the end, Kirby Smart and Fran Brown got their man. Wilson’s recruitment was a highly anticipated nationally watched battle between UGA and Ohio State. Just like the Peach Bowl, the Buckeyes came up just short at the 12th hour!
