“A school like Georgia will get recruited against about how good their roster is and what their depth is at a kid’s position,” Chad Simmons said Thursday during On3’s Inside Scoop recruiting show. “Obviously he’s well aware of what Georgia has, who they’re recruiting, who is in this class. They’ve been pretty transparent about that, and I think he sees it on their roster.
… I think that got into Harris’ head a little bit to examine opportunities, whether it’s Penn State, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State has been in there. Very rarely do you see a kid commit to the same school twice, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Harris gets back in this Georgia class. … I think Penn State is probably their biggest competition, but I do like — as crazy as it sounds — Georgia as the school to get Harris back in the end.”
