“Georgia was great,” Newell told 247sports. “My brother is there so it was a blessing to see him, he’s doing good in practice and everything. I loved Georgia’s campus. It started off and we got to the hotel and had dinner with the coaches. The next morning I watched practice and we went to the football game. Georgia’s atmosphere is crazy!”
“I have been to the campus before so I knew what to expect but it was just great,” he added. “The staff, I felt them on a personal level and felt like I really connected with coach Erik and coach White.”
