“I’ve got a great relationship with BMac and coach [Kirby] Smart,” Benson told DawgNation. “I talk to BMac almost every day, if not every other day. I like him as a person. I feel like when I talk to him, we don’t even get on the phone and talk about football. I just really like the relationship I am building.
“He’s a genuine dude,” he said. “He really cares for his players. It is not just football even though you know the reason you are talking to him is about football. I know I getting on the phone because of the success I’ve had at Hutch and what I’ve done at football. But at the end of the day, he shows he really cares for me.”
