UGA Recruiting: Relationships are Helping the Dawgs With Big Time Defensive Lineman

“It’s Just my relationship with Coach [Tray] Scott and I would say Coach [Kirby] Smart,” Hall told 247sports when asked what stands out about Georgia. “Those are two dudes that if I get into their hands, I will probably be one of the best defensive linemen in the country, college-wise. They are just real down to earth dudes. Coach Tray, you go out and meet with him and then you see him around his players, like he’s a dad towards them. When their grades are slipping, he isn’t going to let them practice. He makes promises to people’s people and he makes sure they stay straight. So, with him, he will be able make sure that I’m right, and when I’m wrong, he’s going to correct me. Coach Smart, he’s like a guide. Whatever you need help with, he’s there to help you with. You know what I’m saying? You want to do something like NIL-wise, I know that’s the big thing now, he will help you with that. He took a bunch of kids up to some seminars to hear a bunch of business people speak and hear about how they got things rolling. But he’s just a solid, great due all around. I feel like my relationship with them has just grown over time. At first, I was trying to prove myself to them, but now I’m in a good spot with them.”
