“Coach Uzo [Chidera Uzo-Diribe] hit me up on Twitter, and we talked for a little bit. He told me to call him after my 7-on-7 tournament. I called him, we talked, and he told me I was everything he was looking for. Then, he told me he was going to offer me,” Herring told DawgsHQ. “It felt amazing. I was kind of in shock because I wasn’t expecting that offer while I was down in Georgia, and I’ve been waiting on this offer for a minute.”
“Them offering put them in a good spot, but I’m still open to anybody,” Herring said. “I’m enjoying the process right now.”
