UGA Recruiting: FIVE STAR WATCH – Top 5* Target Raves About His Relationship With Georgia and Kirby Smart
“Georgia was my first offer, so they were one of the very few schools who saw something in me that many programs didn’t. That definitely has something to say,” Raiola told On3.
Word of the opportunity came straight from the top, too, a point not lost on the nation’s No. 16 prospect in the rising junior class.
“I love Coach [Kirby] Smart. He’s the one who offered me, and being the head coach and being offered by the head coach, it means a little more to me. We’ve been on the phone about three or four times,” Raiola said. “The few times I’ve talked to him, he loves me. I can definitely feel the love from him, and I definitely know I’m a priority for them. The relationship with Coach Smart is very special.”
