UGA Recruiting: Dawg Commit Was Putting the Work in on His Last Visit
“It was like a dream,” Spurlin told DawgNation. “It was awesome. The second time was probably cooler. Honestly. I was with AJ [Harris] Ethan [Nation], Jayvon Hall, Gabe Harris and Kelby Collins. Those were kind of all like my guys. I’ve known them for a while. To finally be in Athens with them was something.”
“It just felt pretty easy. It felt like I didn’t have to go out of my way to recruit because I am pretty good friends with all of those guys. I was just like messing around and said if we all played together here it would just be awesome. It would just be crazy.”
“We’ve all grown up together. I’ve been playing with Ethan Nation since like fourth grade. I’ve been playing Justice since fifth grade. I’ve been playing Jayvon since fifth grade. I’ve known Jayvon from 7-on-7 and I’ve been saying that if we played here that would be something insane. Not a lot of people could say they’ve known each other for that long and played together in college, too. And then accomplish what we could accomplish in college as well.”
