“It was crazy,” his mother Alica Edwards said. “We went to the basketball game. We sat with [Chidera Uzo-Diribe] for like 20 minutes, but then a little bit later Kirby came over, and that was the highlight for King, because he spoke with some of the other boys, but he sat down with King and talked to him for a while. He basically just saying that he had been looking at King for a while, but he didn’t know where to play him because King is also a tight end. So, they came up with the idea of trying to make King an outside linebacker. And that’s a big deal to King because he always said that he wants all the offers, but if he gets one from Georgia, that’s where he’s going.”
