“Very excited and honored,” Fairchild said of the offer. “Coach Luke and I went in the car and we went to eat burgers and he just told me he wanted to do it to my face instead of over the phone and he told me I’d most likely play tackle.”
“The visit went really well,” Fairchild told Dawgs247. “That was the second time we met face to face. This time we got to know each other a lot better – there was more one on one time with each other. I think that the connection we have had and the relationship we’re building with everyone there is only getting stronger. We were also very impressed with the academic support and we loved the visit.”
